Home / Free talk Roundtable – Brexit: its implications for Britain, Europe and Japan

Kyushu University’s EU Centre and the Centre for Asia-Pacific Future Studies (CAFS) will jointly convene a roundtable to discuss Britain’s recent vote to leave the European Union – and what it may mean for Britain itself, Europe and Japan.
The venue will be the ’21st Century Communication Plaza’ (21世紀交流プラザ) on Hakozaki Campus – the ‘multi-purpose hall’ on the first floor. (The plaza is next to the old Faculty of Engineering building, in a small park/garden.)
Prof. Hachiya (former head of, currently advisor to, Kyudai’s EU Centre), myself and Ted Boyle of CAFS/Faculty of Law will start the roundtable by briefly presenting some of our own reflections on ‘Brexit’, before opening the session to questions and discussion.
